Does the fan only activate at high temps when you’d prefer it to turn on sooner?

Keep reading to see how our service works and how we can help.
From the factory, most ECUs are calibrated with very high thresholds. That means your fan may not activate
until coolant temps reach 95–105°C (203–221°F), which is often too late for tuned cars, heavy-duty use, or hot
climates.

Q: How can I make my fan turn on sooner?
A: By lowering the ECU fan activation temperature – for example, instead of waiting until 105°C, we can make it
kick in at 90–95°C.
Q: Can you adjust the fan OFF hysteresis?
A: Yes. This prevents the fan from turning on and off constantly (chopping). We set a stable ON/OFF range.
Q: What if my fan is PWM controlled?
A: We use the PWM Desired ECT table to control fan speed dynamically, so the fan ramps up smoothly as temps rise.
